Private Lessons:
I teach all levels of students from beginners to advanced. My classes focus on building repertoire, improvisation, tone and technique in the idioms of Bluegrass, Americana, Country and Roots music. The goals of my lessons are for the student to have playable repertoire to expand on and find their own voice to jam with others and stay inspired about music. Private lessons can be expanded to group ensembles for friends who want to learn to play and jam together.

Testimonials:
"[Stash's] teaching is thoughtful and thorough, and structured, but always feels loose."
"[Stash] emphasizes creativity rather than rote learning which I found very helpful in thinking about my own approach to music"
